3D mammography has been shown to increase the detection of invasive breast cancer by 41 percent while reducing unnecessary call backs for additional testing. The system works by taking multiple images during the exam, which are then compiled into a reconstruction of the breast providing an enhanced view. (Prior to the 3 Tesla Machine, the high-field standard was 1.5 Tesla.) The greater overall signal of 3T can be manipulated to make scanning more comfortable and decrease motion artifact, and scan times can be half as long. Our scanner generates a magnetic field that is twice the strength of 1.5 Tesla machines and 10 to 15 times the strength of low field or open MRI scanners. Our new Hitachi Supria CT scanner is designed with the patient in mind offering high-speed scan times while keeping radiation doses as low as reasonably achievable. There is a continued need for faster and more accurate diagnosis and our new scanner enables a precise and comfortable examination. With its high weight capacity comfortably accommodating a large range of patients up to 500 lbs. as well as bariatric patients.

In addition to our exceptional customer service and pre-authorization services, we accept all major health insurances and offer a self-pay policy for uninsured patients.
