Progressive Radiology Implements Communication Interface with CRISP on May 10, 2012
Progressive Radiology is pleased to announce the successful implementation of a communication date exchange interface with Chesapeake Regional Information System for Our Patients (CRISP). CRISP is a non-profit organization formally designated as Maryland’s state-wide health information exchange by the Maryland Health Care Commission. CRISP is developing a secure, electronic state-wide health information exchange (HIE) infrastructure that gives authorized medical providers throughout Maryland access to essential patient information such as test results, lab reports, radiology reports and electronic reports.
Progressive Radiology supports CRISP and other secure methods for the interchange of health information, which are intended to advance the health and well-being of Maryland residents. CRISP enables the Maryland healthcare community to appropriately and securely share data, facilitate and integrate care, create efficiencies, and improve outcomes.
